Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Bankworks, a service operated from France. By creating an account, using the APIs, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms. Questions: support@bankworks.info.

1. The service

Bankworks provides (a) a Web Scraping API that renders customer-selected web pages and returns requested page data or screenshots, and (b) an AI-assisted business research API that accepts business details and returns structured research results. Features, packages, usage limits and current prices are described on the Pricing page and in the API documentation.

The service is provided for lawful business use. It is not a standalone CAPTCHA-solving service. The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these Terms and explains restrictions on targets and collection behavior.

2. Accounts and API credentials

Provide accurate account information, keep your login and API keys confidential, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your credentials. You must be legally able to enter these Terms and use the service for your business.

3. Your inputs and responsibilities

You retain responsibility for URLs, prompts, data and instructions submitted through the service. You must have the rights and lawful basis to submit them and to collect the requested material. You must comply with applicable laws, data-protection requirements, website terms and access restrictions, and the Acceptable Use Policy. You must not use the service to access accounts or restricted content without authorization, overload websites, infringe third-party rights, or collect personal data unlawfully.

You authorize us and our service providers to process your inputs and resulting content as needed to operate, secure and support the service, return results, and enforce these Terms. See the Privacy Policy.

4. Plans, usage and payment

Paid API usage is charged at the rates shown in your account or on the Pricing page. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods unless canceled before the next renewal. Each plan applies only to its stated API package or research mode; included request limits are not pooled unless your written Custom Plan says otherwise. Requests beyond an allowance may be charged against your available balance at the displayed rate. Current plans are processed through PayPal; PayPal's payment terms also apply.

Cancel a subscription through the account portal or contact support. Cancellation stops future renewals; access to a paid allowance continues until the end of the already-paid period, subject to account status and applicable law. For billing questions or refund requests, contact support@bankworks.info. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

5. Results and availability

Web pages can change, block requests or return incomplete content. AI-assisted business research may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Results are provided for informational use and are not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Verify important information with authoritative sources before relying on it.

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or suspend features for maintenance, security, legal compliance or misuse. Job results and artifacts are kept only for the applicable time-to-live and retention periods described in the API documentation or configured for the service.

6. Intellectual property

We and our licensors retain rights in the Bankworks service, software and branding. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business purposes during your account term. You retain rights in your submitted materials. You are responsible for ensuring your use of third-party website content and generated results respects third-party rights.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and cancel subscriptions at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address suspected unlawful or abusive use, security risks, non-payment, legal requirements or a breach of these Terms. We will provide notice where practical and legally permitted. After termination, data is handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bankworks is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, third-party website availability or content, or decisions made solely from automated or AI-generated results. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms and will post the current version here with a revised date. French law applies, without limiting mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts determined by applicable law.
